Denver, Colorado USA, March 19, 2019 – Digital Water Works, a leading global innovator of digital twin solutions for smart wet infrastructure, today announced that Dr. Paul F. Boulos, its Chief Executive Officer, will be honored by the Rene Moawad Foundation (RMF USA) with its Distinguished Lifetime Achievement and Outstanding Community Service Award. The award will be presented at the organization’s twelfth annual benefit gala on Saturday, April 13, at the Fisher Island Club in Miami Beach, FL. Established in 1993, with headquarters in Washington D.C., RMF USA’s main mission is to promote peace, stability and prosperity in Lebanon through sustainable human development activities. Its award pays tribute to individuals who best exemplify the distinguishing qualities of Lebanese Americans: love of family and country, generosity of spirit, dedication to the community, excellence in business or profession, and support of the Foundation’s mission. Laureates are selected by the RMF USA Board of Directors.

RMF USA Founder and Honorary Chairperson H.E. Nayla Moawad said that Dr. Boulos was chosen for this year’s award because of his “distinguished career, defined by excellent professional and ethical performance, exemplary dedication to the community and the water industry … his indefatigable efforts in supporting the education of our youth … and his steadfast commitment to and incredible passion for building a better world for the greater good. Dr. Boulos exemplifies the empathy and dedication that we at RMF USA know can create a future of abundance for Lebanon and the region.”

“Dr. Boulos’ story is one of incredible achievement as both a philanthropist and a business and engineering leader,” said former Congressman and RMF USA Board Chair Nick Rahall. “His leadership in international education, his giving back to his country of origin, Lebanon, and his remarkable contributions here in the United States make him a sterling choice for this important award. He is an asset to the community and a source of pride to men and women everywhere. I am proud to know him as a dear friend. I cannot congratulate him more enthusiastically on this distinguished honor.”

Added H.E. Ambassador Gabriel Issa, “Dr. Paul Boulos is a highly accomplished engineer and a remarkable business leader in the United States and around the world. His long-standing commitment to higher education and dedication to improving the lives, hopes and dreams of our youth define his character as a visionary leader. This honor of Paul’s many contributions to our country inspires great pride and joy throughout the Lebanese American community.”

“I am deeply humbled and honored to be singled out for this distinguished award,” said Boulos. “But even more important to me is the significance of the work we all do. The RMF USA’s incredible passion for enhancing the common good and reaching out to improve Lebanon’s communities is making the country a better and brighter place to live. It is with the utmost respect and admiration for this organization and its Directors that I salute their compassionate hearts, their noble efforts to make a difference in the lives of so many, and their critical role as a leading example and inspiration for others.”
